Project Learning - Summer 2011

We are all very excited about the project learning program this summer!

The gals wanna do a topic on science. We went through several issues together, and finally we've decided on two.

1. Euthanasia
2. Human Cloning/Genetic Engineering

Very interesting and controversial topics indeed, good pick, girls!

Wednesday 4pm Group - Brain Exercise

Hi Gals,

There are three things for which I'd like you to burn the midnight oil before the next lesson.

1. Finish the examples of the writing worksheet.
2. Find out the difference between a diary and a journal.
3. Offer an explanation why the main character in the Diary of A Wimpy Kid doesn't want to write down his feelings in the diary, and SPECIFICALLY why he is afraid of being found out that he's writing a diary.

By the way, I'd like to change this week's meeting time to 4:30pm. Please let me know if this arrangement is OK for you.

See you soon.

About the group coaching

The group tuition fee covers an hour and a half of coaching. Some students actually benefit more from interacting with their peers when learning in a small group, so the group option is actually quite attractive. You are welcomed to form your own group and sign up for the group tutoring.

Some Inquiries

Some of you have called to ask whether I coach students from local schools, and the answer is YES, absolutely! In fact, I'm certain that students from local schools, as they're switching to the new 3-3-4 curriculum, need more help to adapt to the new mode of learning, and most importantly meeting the challenge of university entrance exam. The ability to speak and write better English, and the capacity to think critically and express your own views, have become the standard requirement of getting into a university, no matter in the local or overseas situation. It is never too late to start improving your skills and working out your brain muscles, and that is even more of a burning issue for those F.4 to F.6 students! I'm here to help you.
